Jacob Wrigley graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA First in Illustration in 2017. Since then, he has been a freelance motion graphics artist working diligently with tier-1 clients like the RLA group to create 3D indents. His professional and personal interests include designing for film, pre-production, storyboard, animation, and concept art which require a knowledge of 3D and in-depth storytelling.
To achieve his 3D work, Jacob uses primarily Cinema4D with supplementary software like Marvellous designer, X-particles, Houdini, and Materialise. His current render engine is OTOY’s Octane. Jacob is expert in fundamentals like animation, texturing, lighting, composition dynamics, effectors, VDB’s, and splines within C4D. He is fluent across Adobe software particularly with Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
Jacob is a fast and efficient illustrator and enjoys rendering in portraiture, matte painting, poster design, and with textured lighting. He dedicates to learning new software to provide innovative, state-of-the-art techniques. Importantly, Jacob brings a passion to his work when collaborating with each client. His main goal is to successfully enhance their vision resulting in a positive and thoughtful reaction by viewers and audiences.
